Los pasados 16, 17 y 18 de diciembre se celebraron en Archidona, Torre del Mar y Alhaurín el Grande las tres ediciones consecutivas del Startups Meeting, un evento destinado a favorecer la cultura emprendedora.
Desde la organización me invitaron a acudir al primero de los eventos a contar mi experiencia como emprendedor, y hablar, entre otras cosas, de Ideanto, que es la empresa de la que soy socio y a la que dedico actualmente buena parte de las horas del día y de la noche.
Casi un centenar de personas se dieron cita alrededor de las 19 horas en el auditorio muncipal de Archidona. El evento se dividió en tres partes: una destinada a que la Diputación contase las maneras en las que ayudaba a los emprendedores, otra enfocada a dar a conocer Inverteme, una plataforma destinada a unir intereses de proyectos e inversores, y una tercera en la que emprendedores debíamos contar al público, en apenas 20 minutos, nuestra experiencia y nuestros proyectos.
Entre Pepe Montoro y Pilo Martín, tuve la oportunidad de hacer memoria y recordar para los asistentes mis años de cámara y mochila al hombro recorriendo lugares peligrosos por mor de mi afición al periodismo internacional, y cómo, sin saberlo, era ya un emprendedor. Repasé después de mi experiencia en Qué.es para demostrar que incluso dentro de una plantilla y trabajando para una empresa se puede ser emprendedor, poniendo como ejemplo cómo creamos la estrategia online de la parte de social media web allá por 2009, fuimos de los primeros medios en contar con página en Facebook y presencia en Twitter o de hacer que el medio escrito reflejase las opiniones de los seguidores en redes sociales. Por último, conté la gestación de Ideanto y nuestro afán por innovar con proyectos como el evento Málaga Valley Network Meeting o nuestra plataforma de códigos QR 3.0, un claro ejemplo de que se puede hacer I+D+i sin ser una empresa gigante.
Tras concluir la parte de charlas fue muy agradable poder compartir ágape con los asistentes y hablar con muchos de sus experiencias emprendedoras y ver que las ganas de hacer cosas invaden a muchas personas que ven que echarse a la pena no solucionada nada, y que en vez de rendirnos ante la adversidad, tenemos que remar con más ahínco.
En definitiva fue una grata experiencia y apoyo toda iniciativa que sirva para inculcar el espíritu aventurero que tanta falta nos hace por estos lares.
